Sheet Metal Worker

Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Metal Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in metal fabrication, machining, and quality control. The Metal Worker will be responsible for working with various metalworking equipment to produce high-quality products. Responsibilities: - Install all types of metal roofing and siding, including trims and terminations. - Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical specifications to ensure accurate production. - Conduct quality inspections to ensure products meet quality standards. - Develop and maintain tooling and jigs to optimize production processes. - Safely operate forklifts and other heavy equipment to transport materials and finished products. - Collaborate with other team members to achieve production goals and maintain a clean and safe work environment. - Continuously improve and refine production techniques to increase efficiency and productivity. Experience: - Proven experience as a metalworker, machinist, or fabricator. - Strong understanding of metalworking processes and techniques. - Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical specifications. - Experience operating a variety of metalworking equipment, including milling machines, lathes, and stamping presses. - Familiarity with quality inspection procedures and tools. - Knowledge of tooling and jigs design and construction. - Experience operating forklifts and other heavy equipment. - Physical stamina to perform heavy lifting and prolonged standing and walking. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines.
