Under new ownership over the last two and a half years, we have tripled sales, expanded our in house brands, and built the foundation for a much larger national business.We design, build, and sell premium saunas, steam solutions, cold plunges, and full wellness spaces, combining craftsmanship, design, and modern customer experience.The Northeast is already one of our strongest regions. Now we want to make it much stronger.We are hiring a General Manager, Northeast to build the business in the Tri State area, help select our Fairfield County showroom location, launch the showroom, sell premium wellness projects, recruit the first local team, and become the face of The Sauna Place in one of the best luxury home markets in America.This is not a store manager job. This is luxury design sales, local market building, and hands on entrepreneurship.Your mandate: turn the Northeast into the blueprint for every major showroom we open after it.The OpportunityYou are not starting from zero. We already have customers, demand, credibility, and sales momentum in the Northeast.What we do not yet have is the right person on the ground.That is the opportunity.You will help us choose the right Fairfield County location. You will launch the showroom. You will personally sell from it. You will recruit the first local salespeople. You will build relationships with homeowners, designers, builders, architects, pool contractors, and luxury home professionals.If this works, the role gets much bigger. We plan to open many more showrooms in the coming years. We are looking for someone who can grow the business and grow with the business.What You Will SellYou will help customers create beautiful personal wellness spaces for their homes, backyards, gyms, retreats, and commercial projects.That includes:Custom indoor and outdoor saunasSteam roomsCold plungesSauna heaters and controlsFull wellness spaces with the right layout, materials, glass, lighting, benches, and accessoriesThis is not order taking. This is design led, consultative sales.A typical customer has already researched saunas. They care about design. They want to make a smart decision. They need someone who can simplify the options, guide them through the process, and give them confidence.Some customers will visit the showroom. Many sales will happen by phone, video, and email. Most sales require trust, taste, speed, follow up, and the ability to close a high consideration purchase without making it feel complicated.You are not just selling heat. You are helping people build a place to recover, disconnect, entertain, improve their health, and spend time with the people they love.We will train you deeply on sauna design, materials, heaters, ventilation, layouts, installation realities, quoting, and our sales process. You do not need to be a sauna expert on day one. You do need to be sharp, curious, hungry, commercial, and excellent with customers.Our BrandsYou will represent The Sauna Place and our growing in house brands.Cedro Sauna is our custom sauna and wellness design brand, crafted in Tennessee for beautiful residential and commercial projects.Heritage Sauna is our non custom sauna line, built around strong design, quality, value, and a direct relationship with the company behind the product.The Northeast showroom will be one of the most important places where customers experience these brands in person.What You'll OwnSales and Market GrowthOwn the local revenue engine.Personally sell premium sauna, steam, cold plunge, and custom wellness projects.Turn existing regional demand into closed business.Build trust with homeowners, designers, builders, architects, and local partners.Make The Sauna Place feel local, premium, responsive, and obvious.Showroom Selection and LaunchBuild the physical flagship.Help evaluate and select the final Fairfield County showroom location.Help shape the showroom experience, product mix, displays, and customer flow.Launch the space with urgency and commercial focus.Make the showroom feel premium, inspiring, organized, and alive.Customer Design and ConsultationGuide customers through the full decision.Help customers think through layout, materials, heaters, controls, lighting, benches, and accessories.Translate technical sauna details into simple customer decisions.Work with our Tennessee team on quoting, product knowledge, operations, and handoff.Make every customer feel guided, not sold at.Team BuildingBuild the first local team.Recruit one to two local salespeople in the first phase.Train them with support from our Tennessee headquarters.Set the standard for speed, follow up, customer care, and closing.Create a small team that acts like owners, not employees waiting for instructions.Most weeks, you will sell: phone, video, email, showroom visits, follow up, quotes, and closing. You will also host walk ins, designers, builders, and local partners. You will recruit, coach, and coordinate with our Tennessee team.You will not spend most of your time on the road. You will not spend most of your time in meetings.This is a selling and building role.What We're Looking ForWe care more about hunger, judgment, ownership, and sales ability than pedigree.You are the kind of person who:Can close a serious $20,000+ luxury sale over several conversations without needing someone to hold your hand.Answers leads fast and follows up without being told.Writes like a real person. No corporate filler. No templates pretending to be communication.Has the taste to guide a customer through design decisions with confidence.Can recruit a strong team and coach them hard.Moves when something needs to be done.Operates without needing a big corporate machine around you.You must be based at the Connecticut showroom during showroom hours once the showroom opens. Most of your selling will happen by phone and video from that location, with some customers coming to you in person. You must also be willing to travel periodically to our Tennessee headquarters for training and alignment.Experience in luxury home goods, kitchen and bath, appliances, custom interiors, outdoor living, pools, wellness, premium fitness, high end retail, design sales, real estate, automotive sales, finance, or other high performance consultative sales environments is valuable, but not required.We can teach sauna, product, and process.
