HR Generalist - Medical Field

The HR Generalist is responsible for ensuring consistent HR practices, accurate employee data, compliance readiness, and effective employee support, while escalating high-risk or final decision matters to the Controller and executive leadership.HR AdministrationOwn assigned HR processes end-to-endMaintain accurate and confidential employee personnel filesEnter and update employee data in ERP systemsAssist with timekeeping and basic payroll coordinationAssist employees with basic benefit questions (medical, dental, vision, 401(k), etc.)Support workers' compensation documentation and claims trackingMaintain training and certification records for field employeesMaintain audit-ready HR records at all timesEmployee Relations SupportSupport supervisors with attendance, performance, and conduct issuesEnsure consistent application of HR policies across departmentsSupport a positive workplace culture across office and jobsite environmentsEscalate termination recommendations and high-risk situationsRecruiting & Onboarding OversightCoordinate new-hire onboarding for field and office employeesGeneral HR SupportAssist with development and updates of HR policies and SOPsMaintain HR calendars, deadlines, and reporting schedulesBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field~3–6 years of progressive HR experience~ HR certification (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or PHR)~ Experience supporting both field and office employees~ Strong working knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices~ Experience handling employee relations and investigations~
