FSQR Technician
Description:FSQ TechnicianShift Hours of Operation: 6:30a-6:30p or 6:30p-6:30awill be extended 3 months at a time.Work Environment: Production - LABORATORYDress Code/Required PPE: Long pants, long sleeves, hard-soled, leather shoes (no tennis shoes), prescription safety glasses if required by worker, regular safety glasses providedEssential Duties/Responsibilities:"Position Purpose - The Food Safety and Quality (FSQ) Technician position is responsible for timely completion of analytical testing in support of the quality management and operational teams. Analytical testing may be performed for routine analysis of in-process and final product testing, Near Infrared Spectroscopy (NIR) calibration development and maintenance, and support of trials and experiments. The FSQ Technician is responsible for checking and monitoring analytical instrumentation performance. The FSQ Technician is responsible for entering data into databases and communication of results verbally and/or in writing.Skills gained in the FSQ Technician position include analytical, lab instrumentation, and ISO standards. With working within the large and diverse organization, development of team work and communication skills be gained.Position Accountabilities -75% Analytical testing for routine analysis of in-process and final product testing and support of trials or experiments. Entry of data into databases and communication of results verbally or in writing as required. Communicating specification results to internal customers.
