Join us to build the future.Your Impact The Senior Superintendent is a senior field leadership role responsible for overseeing the execution of multiple projects of varying size and complexity. Building upon the responsibilities of the Superintendent, this role provides advanced leadership in safety, people develo pment, subcontractor coordination, and operational execution. The Senior Superintendent serves as a mentor to Superintendents, a strategic partner to Operations and Project Management leadership, and a key contributor to regional and corporate initiatives.Your Day-to-Day ResponsibilitiesPerform all responsibilities of the Superintendent role. Participate in Project Execution Plan (PEP) peer reviews and provide constructability and execution feedback. Manage and maintain strong subcontractor and client relationships across assigned projects. Lead people development efforts for field teams, including mentoring and coaching Superintendents. Serve as a teacher and mentor to Superintendents and emerging field leaders. Support regional and corporate operational initiatives as assigned. Enforce labor agreements and ensure compliance with company and contractual labor requirements. Provide preconstruction support including logistics planning, schedule input, and constructability reviews. Manage multiple projects simultaneously across varying sizes, complexities, and market sectors. Participate in hiring, promotion, performance management, and termination decisions in partnership with Account and Operations Managers. Strategize and support regional safety initiatives and continuous improvement efforts. Provide leadership within Project Safety Leadership Teams (PSLTs). Co-manage equipment operations and utilization in partnership with operations leadership. Co-manage Superintendent development with the Operations Manager. Oversee self-perform work management where applicable. Manage craft employment, workforce planning, and craft development initiatives. QualificationsMinimum 8 years of progressive experience in construction field leadership. Proven experience managing multiple concurrent projects. Prior experience mentoring or leading Superintendents preferred. Data center or mission-critical construction experience preferred. Advanced knowledge of construction means, methods, and field execution. Strong leadership, coaching, and people development skills. Ability to manage complex logistics, schedules, and labor resources. Strong understanding of labor agreements, safety regulations, and quality standards. Excellent communication and relationship management skills. Work occurs in data center environments with potential exposure to electrical hazards, noise, and varying temperatures. Flexible hours, including nights and weekends, may be required.Physical requirements include bending, stooping, squatting, crawling, climbing, kneeling, balancing, pushing, pulling, and reaching overhead. Must lift at least 50 lbs, raise arms above shoulder level, and perform overhead work for extended periods. The ability to climb and carry ladders (up to 12 ft), navigate stairways, and work at heights up to 90 ft using ladders, scaffolds, or lifts is essential.Employees must access restricted areas (e.g., switchgear rooms, vaults, tunnels, crawl spaces) and wear full PPE. Good vision and hearing (normal or corrected) and accurate color identification are required.
