Position: RN PCU Stepdown

Pay rate $65 to $70/hr on w2
12hrs night shift NOC Shift Information 7pm- 07.30 am
Guranteed hours 36/48
EMR Used: Meditech
Floating is required
Preference will be given to candidates with both ICU and PCU experience. A minimum of 2 years critical care experience is required.
Top Diagnosis/Procedures: surgical of all types, medicals of all types, neuro patients at times.
Common Equipment: bladder scanners, IV pumps, PCA pumps, SCD's, bipaps, cpaps, optiflows, vapotherms, airvos.
Vasoactive Drip Titration Required - neosynephrine, amiodarone, cardizem, among a few others
Nurse Patient Ratio: 1:03 (not guaranteed)
Line Management Skills:
Required: IV Insertion, PICC/Central Line Management, Vascular Device Access/Care, Dialysis Fistula Care/Management, A-Line Management
Preferred: CVP
Cardiac Skills: Preferred: Obtain 12 Lead EKG, Sheath Removal, Cardioversion/Defibrillation
Airway: Required: CPAP/BiPAP, Trach Care
Ortho/MS/Onc: Required: Epidural/PCA pumps, Feeding Tubes, Wound Vac
Qualifications
RN LICENSE MO state active
ACLS
BLS/BCLS
Pay: $65.00 - $70.00 per hour
Experience:
ICU: 1 year (Preferred)
PCU: 1 year (Preferred)
Critical care: 1 year (Preferred)
