To succeed in the Data Engineering position, you should have strong analytical and problem solving skills and the ability to combine data from different sources, so we're looking for data engineers with strong analytical skills, who can create algorithms and conduct statistical and ability to integrate raw information from different sources to create consistent machine readable formats. Our engineers are versatile, enthusiastic and work with leaders across the organization to help support business decisions. Does this sound like you? As a Data engineer, you will be responsible for collecting, managing, and converting raw data into information that can be interpreted by data scientists and business analysts. Their ultimate goal is to make data accessible so that various stakeholders and clients can use it to evaluate and optimize their business performance. What are we looking for? Technical skills and responsibilities include analyzing and organizing raw data, developing and maintaining datasets, improving data quality and efficiency, building data systems and pipelines, evaluating business needs and objectives, interpreting trends and patterns, conducting complex data analysis and reporting on results, preparing data for prescriptive and predictive modeling, building algorithms and prototypes, combining raw information from different sources, exploring ways to enhance data quality and reliability, identifying opportunities for data acquisition, developing analytical tools and programs, and collaborating with data scientists and architects on several projects. Other skills and competence include technical expertise with data models, data mining, and segmentation techniques, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, hands-on experience with SQL database design, knowledge of programming languages (R, Python), a bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, or a similar field, high motivation with a sense of ownership and accountability, a quick learner with a great attitude, genuine team player, able to work well and pleasantly in a team and work independently for the team, and the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences.
