Farmers Market Sales Associate

Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Market Associate to join our team. As a key member of our sales floor, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, driving sales growth, and contributing to a positive store environment. Duties: - Utilize strong sales skills to promote products and increase sales revenue, specifically in jewelry and technology sales. - Demonstrate a thorough understanding of products, including features, benefits, and pricing. - Provide accurate and timely product knowledge to customers. - Operate a cash register efficiently and accurately, handling transactions and maintaining a neat and organized sales floor. - Build strong relationships with customers, answering questions and addressing concerns. - Collaborate with other team members to achieve sales goals and maintain a welcoming store atmosphere. - Manage inventory and restock shelves as needed to ensure a visually appealing and well-stocked store. - Maintain a high level of proficiency in retail math, including calculating discounts, sales tax, and processing returns. - Utilize multilingual skills to communicate with a diverse customer base. - Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of store policies and procedures. Qualifications: - Proven experience in retail sales, with a focus on jewelry and technology sales. - Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with customers from diverse backgrounds. - High school diploma or equivalent required; a college degree in a related field is a plus. - Ability to speak multiple languages, including English and Spanish, is a significant advantage. - Experience with cash register operations and retail math is essential. - Ability to lift and move items of up to 50 pounds, as needed.
