Carpenter Supervisor
Position SummaryScalish Construction is seeking a Carpenter Supervisor to be responsible for overseeing and coordinating carpentry work on residential and commercial construction projects. This role ensures all work is completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with project specifications and quality standards. The Carpenter Supervisor reports directly to the Operations Manager.Key Responsibilities· Supervise and lead carpenters and laborers on active job sites.· Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to plan and execute work activities.· Coordinate daily schedules, crew assignments, and material needs.· Ensure all carpentry work meets company quality standards and project requirements.· Monitor productivity and provide coaching, training, and performance feedback.· Enforce OSHA safety regulations and maintain a safe work environment.· Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, vendors, and other trades.· Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with plans, codes, and safety standards.· Track project progress and communicate updates to management.· Troubleshoot construction issues and resolve challenges in real time.Qualifications· Minimum 5 years of carpentry experience required.· At least 1–2 years in a leadership or supervisory role preferred.· Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and tools.· Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.· Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.· Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and best practices.· Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.· Valid driver’s license required.Preferred Qualifications· OSHA certification.· Experience with commercial construction projects.· Computer skills for reporting, scheduling, and communication.· Previous project management or site supervision experience.Physical Requirements· Ability to lift and carry materials weighing 50+ pounds.· Comfortable working at heights and in varying weather conditions.· Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and perform manual labor for extended periods.Work Environment· Primarily based on active construction job sites.· Travel between project locations may be required.· Full-time schedule with potential overtime based on project demands.Benefits· 401(k)· Health, dental and vision insurance· Paid holidays· Paid birthday off· Paid time offJob type: Full-timePay: $35.00 – $45.00 per hour Schedule- Monday-FridayWork Location: Lakewood, OH 44107ary of the role, what success in the position looks like, and how this role fits into the organization overall.
