Sr. Accounting Manager

Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accounting Manager to lead our property accounting function. This role will oversee financial reporting, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and manage a team responsible for a portfolio of properties. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership skills, deep knowledge of property accounting, and hands-on experience with Yardi.Lead and manage the property accounting team, including hiring, mentoring, and performance managementOversee monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes for assigned property portfoliosReview and approve financial statements, reconciliations, and variance analysesEnsure accuracy and compliance with GAAP and company policiesMaintain and optimize accounting processes and internal controlsServe as the subject matter expert for Yardi, including system optimization, reporting, and troubleshootingCollaborate with asset management, property management, and other cross-functional teamsSupport budgeting, forecasting, and audit processesAnalyze financial performance and provide strategic insights to senior leadershipDrive process improvements and system enhancements to increase efficiency and scalabilityBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)7+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3 years in property accounting3+ years of experience managing or leading a teamStrong proficiency with Yardi (Voyager preferred)Deep understanding of real estate/property accounting, including CAM reconciliations and lease structuresAdvanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and financial reporting toolsStrong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbout INSPYR SolutionsTechnology is our focus and quality is our commitment.
