This role requires maintaining sterile technique, preparing patients and equipment, and supporting complex vascular and interventional procedures while ensuring patient safety and high-quality imaging outcomes. The technologist will work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams and may be required to float to other qualified units as needed.Key Responsibilities:Prepare patients and procedure rooms for interventional radiology proceduresMaintain sterile technique and assist physicians during proceduresPerform scrub and circulator duties in the IR suitePrepare and manage vascular access sites and closure systemsOperate and maintain imaging equipment and suppliesMonitor patient condition and ensure safety throughout proceduresMaintain accurate documentation using EPIC EMR systemAssist with inventory management and stocking suppliesSupport complex vascular, abdominal, and interventional proceduresFloat to other units or campuses as required based on staffing needsParticipate in on-call rotation and weekend coverageRequired Skills:Interventional Radiology and Special Procedures experienceExperience working in Hybrid OR or Interventional Radiology settingKnowledge of sterile technique and infection control practicesExperience with vascular and endovascular proceduresFamiliarity with Siemens and Philips imaging equipment preferredStrong communication and teamwork skillsAbility to manage multiple procedures in a fast-paced environmentExperience with PACS and EPIC documentation systemsQualifications:Minimum 1 year of Interventional Radiology experience requiredARRT (R) certification requiredBLS and ACLS certifications requiredSouth Carolina Radiology License requiredExperience in Special Procedures or IR setting requiredEPIC EMR experience (minimum 1 year) requiredFirst-time travelers will be considered based on experienceWork Schedule:40 hours/week8 hours/dayMonday – FridayDay Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PMOne night of call per weekEvery seventh weekend rotationFloating requiredApidel Technologies Job ID #API8581.About Apidel Technologies At Apidel Technologies LLC , we specialize in delivering high-impacthealthcare staffing solutions that empower organizations to maintainoperational excellence and deliver exceptional patient care.
