Warehouse Associate

Kitting/Packing AssociateWarehouse Kit/Pack Associates are responsible for the filling customer orders by means of scale or hand count. Warehouse Kit/Pack associates complete the process by packing customers' orders in preparation for shipping. Warehouse Kit/Pack associates may also perform other duties, such as receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking, and shipping orders.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Other duties as assigned.Fill customer orders as assigned by picking, scale counting, packing, or shipping material.Generate appropriate labels for product identification and/or mark materials with identifying information.Prepare parcels for shipment in accordance with Heilind and customer specifications to prevent damage, ensure preservation, and accurate identification.Work in a manner that promotes efficient handling and minimizes waste.Participate in Company sponsored training and process improvement activities.Comply with all Company Policies as defined in the Company's Warehouse Orientation Packet.Pursue continuous improvement through training and process improvement.Comply with all applicable elements of the Company's Quality Management System.Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.Must have attention to detail.Education/Experience:High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or one to three months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Prior warehouse experience preferred, but not required.Previous warehouse experience a plus.
