Technical Program Manager, Shopping Platform (Contract)
Location: Mountain View, CA (hybrid, in-office Tues-Thurs)
Type: Contract / temporary coverage
Schedule: Monday-Friday, normal business hours
About the Role:
We are hiring a Technical Program Manager to support a global online shopping platform. You will help run technical projects that support merchant partners, improve existing processes, and build out a program around the team’s tooling. This is a fast-moving role where structure, speed, and clear communication matter.
Key Responsibilities:
- Run technical projects around tooling and infrastructure, from planning through delivery
- Support technical onboarding and integration for merchant partners by setting up monitoring, driving calls, and making sure feedback is captured and issues are unblocked
- Mature and improve existing team processes
- Build a program around the team’s tooling, including defining and tracking risks
- Work with engineering and cross-functional teams, mostly in the Bay AreaHandle ambiguity and keep projects moving
Minimum Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in technical project or program management
- Experience running technical projects and building or improving processes
- Strong program execution and stakeholder communication skills
- Technical mindset with some exposure to software or APIsPreferred Qualifications
- Working knowledge of spreadsheet and productivity tools and AI tools
- Basic SQL knowledge
- Familiarity with merchant or product-feed platforms, e-commerce platforms (Shopify, WooCommerce, BigCommerce), or partner onboarding
- Ability to learn new tools quickly
