Lead Data Engineer (Remote)We are seeking a hands-on Lead Data Engineer to help modernize and rebuild a growing commercial data environment. This highly visible role will partner closely with leadership, business stakeholders, and data science teams to improve data architecture, scalability, and reporting capabilities while driving key modernization initiatives.The ideal candidate brings deep experience with Databricks, data pipeline development, and enterprise data modernization, along with the ability to confidently communicate technical concepts to executive audiences.What You'll DoLead modernization and refactoring of existing data pipelines and processesBuild scalable data engineering solutions in a cloud-based environmentSupport major initiatives including Databricks migration and AI-driven data projectsPartner with cross-functional stakeholders to improve reporting and data architectureCollaborate with Data Science teams on best practices and scalable solutionsPresent updates and recommendations to VP/executive-level leadershipWhat We're Looking For10+ years of data engineering and technical experienceStrong hands-on expertise with Databricks (required)Advanced SQL, ETL, data modeling, and pipeline development skillsExperience modernizing enterprise data environmentsStrong executive communication and stakeholder management abilitiesAzure experience preferredPython, Snowflake, Tableau, and Power BI experience preferredThe projected hourly range for this position is $75.00 to $85.00.On-Demand Group (ODG) provides employee benefits which includes healthcare, dental, and vision insurance.
