Speech Language PathologistMilestone Health Partners of Williston is growing and seeking to add a full-time speech language pathologist who wants to be a part of an interdisciplinary team. We value providing high quality care to patients to meet each milestone across the lifespan and place emphasis on career development for our professional staff.Duties and ResponsibilitiesReviews hearing or speech and language test results, barium swallow results, or medical or background information to diagnose and plan treatment for speech, language, fluency, voice, or swallowing disordersAdministers speech and language evaluations or tests to patients to collect information on type and degree of impairmentsWrites reports and maintains proper documentationDevelops and implements treatment plans for problems including but not limited to stuttering, delayed language, swallowing disorders, or inappropriate pitch or harsh voicePlans, organizes, and conducts speech, language, and feeding therapy sessions in a clinical setting with pediatric and adult patientsSelects activities that will help patients learn activities of daily living within limits of their mental and physical capabilitiesEducates and trains a patient's caregivers about how to support patient's speech and language skillsParticipates in treatment team, staff, and professional meetingsWorks collaboratively with other disciplinesCompensation and BenefitsMilestone Health Partners values offering a flexible work schedule to assist staff in balancing career and family responsibilities.
