Job Title: Senior SAP APO Functional Consultant (DP / SNP / PPDS / GATP)Location: Raritan, New JerseyWork Arrangement: OnsiteEmployment Type: ContractDuration: 6+ MonthsDomain: SAP APO / Supply Chain Planning / ManufacturingRate Range: $60-65/hrSKILLS REQUIREDPrimary (Must-Have):Strong experience in SAP APO modules including DP, SNP, PP/DS, and GATPHands-on expertise in SAP APO implementation, support, and configurationExperience with APO–ERP integration using CIF and qRFC monitoringExpertise in Demand Planning, Statistical Forecasting, and Supply Network PlanningExperience configuring PP/DS for finite scheduling and sequencingStrong knowledge of Backorder Processing (BOP) and Rules-Based ATP (RBA)Experience in master data management including PDS/PPM, resources, calendars, and transportation lanesAbility to gather business requirements and translate them into functional specificationsExperience coordinating with ABAP/technical teams for enhancements and interfacesStrong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills in APO planning scenariosSecondary (Good to Have):Experience with SNP Optimizer and Transport Load Builder (TLB)Exposure to S&OP and consensus demand planning processesKnowledge of inventory optimization and allocation strategiesExperience preparing SOPs, operational runbooks, and training documentationStakeholder communication and end-user training skillsProcess improvement and analytical problem-solving capabilitiesPOSITION OVERVIEWWe are seeking an experienced SAP APO Functional Consultant to support supply chain planning and fulfillment operations across Demand Planning, Supply Network Planning, PP/DS, and GATP modules. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to implement, configure, and optimize SAP APO solutions while ensuring seamless integration with SAP ERP systems. This role requires strong expertise in supply chain planning processes, APO configuration, forecasting, scheduling, and ATP management.ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIESLead end-to-end SAP APO implementations and support activities across DP, SNP, PP/DS, and GATP modulesConduct business workshops to gather requirements and document AS-IS and TO-BE process flowsConfigure SAP APO Demand Planning including planning areas, key figures, planning levels, forecasting models, and macrosImplement and optimize SNP planning processes including heuristics, optimizer, deployment, and replenishment logicConfigure PP/DS for finite scheduling, sequencing, setup times, pegging strategies, and production planning executionSupport GATP configuration including check strategies, Rules-Based ATP, and Backorder Processing (BOP)Manage APO–ERP integration using CIF, monitor qRFC queues, and perform reconciliation activitiesEnsure APO master data readiness including products, locations, transportation lanes, quota arrangements, and PDS/PPM structuresDevelop functional specifications and coordinate with technical teams for enhancements and interface developmentPerform root-cause analysis for planning issues including CIF errors, missing receipts, and incorrect pegging scenariosPrepare operational runbooks, monitoring procedures, SOPs, and job schedules for APO processesConduct testing activities including UT, SIT, UAT, cutover, and hypercare supportDeliver end-user training and knowledge transfer to business and support teamsCollaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to improve planning efficiency, service levels, and system stabilityEEOC ComplianceWe are an equal opportunity employer, and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment.DISCLAIMERAI Usage Policy: The company may use AI-assisted tools during the application screening process.
