This role is responsible for leading systems engineering efforts across the full lifecycle, including requirements development, architecture design, integration, testing, risk management, and operational support.The ideal candidate has extensive experience supporting large-scale systems engineering initiatives involving DoD architectures, service-oriented architectures, systems integration, and technical program leadership.ResponsibilitiesAnalyze user requirements, operational concepts, and system architectures to develop system requirements and technical specificationsLead systems engineering and integration activities throughout the system lifecycleDevelop and maintain systems engineering documentation including System Engineering Plans (SEPs), Requirements Specifications, Interface Control Documents (ICDs), and integration/test plansSupport the development of system architectures using DoDAF, SOA, and related enterprise architecture standardsPerform requirements analysis, functional allocation, and derivation of lower-level system requirementsSupport system integration, interface definition, and cross-functional coordination activitiesParticipate in Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to design and implement new technical capabilitiesConduct technical assessments, feasibility studies, and end-to-end system flow analysisDevelop alternative system concepts, physical architectures, and design solutionsManage configuration changes and coordinate action items from CCBs, design reviews, and program reviewsSupport verification and validation activities, including test planning and system certification effortsDevelop Information Assurance (IA) and security-related requirements, including confidentiality, integrity, authentication, and access control mechanismsConduct quantitative analyses related to system performance, reliability, maintainability, and survivabilitySupport DoD Certification & Accreditation (C&A) and Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System (JCIDS) processesAssess program risks and support risk mitigation planning and executionCoordinate system integration activities across multiple technical teams and stakeholdersProvide technical leadership and guidance to engineering teams and program stakeholdersRequired QualificationsMust be fully cleared with a recent MD polygraphMust be willing and able to work fully onsite at the location listed in this postingBachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related technical field (or equivalent experience)14+ years of experience in Systems Engineering supporting programs of similar scope and complexityExperience developing and managing system requirements, derived requirements, and system architecturesExperience with DoDAF, Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA), and enterprise systems integrationExperience developing systems engineering documentation and technical specificationsExperience supporting system integration, testing, and lifecycle management activitiesExperience with risk management, configuration management, and change control processesExperience supporting Information Assurance and security engineering activitiesExperience working with hardware/software integrated systemsStrong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with technical teams, stakeholders, and senior leadershipDesired QualificationsExperience supporting DoD Certification & Accreditation (C&A) processesExperience supporting JCIDS documentation and capability development processesExperience working within Agile or hybrid engineering environmentsExperience leading large-scale systems engineering or integration effortsFamiliarity with operational analysis, mission systems, and complex enterprise architectures#CJFantom Corp is a Software Development, Agile Cloud, Cyber Security (Risk Management, Assessments & Authorization (A&A)), Data, AI Platform (Computer Vision Models), Podcasting Media Services, and IT Services provider.
