Project Manager (Active PMP Certification Highly Desired)

JOB DESCRIPTION: The Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government’s division of Computer Services is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager for an on-site, full-time, contracted position. This role involves managing SaaS implementation and infrastructure projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, critical thinking skills, and exceptional time management. Effective interpersonal communication is crucial as the role requires collaboration with various stakeholders to achieve project goals. Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of project management experience, preferably in a technology-focused environment. The successful applicant will demonstrate a proven track record of managing complex projects and delivering successful outcomes. Experience with organizational change management would be wonderful, but not required. An active PMP Certification is highly desired. Candidates must have a history of leadership and be able to manage digital transformations. Candidates with onboarding to Salesforce experience are highly desired. This position requires the Project Manager to manage five to six small projects at once and be able to manage intake requests and demands in real time.
