Job DescriptionEmployee Benefits Account ManagerJob SummarySeeking a highly motivated and experienced Employee Benefits Account Manager to join a dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in employee benefits, including fully insured and self-funded plans, and will be responsible for managing mid-to-large market accounts.Compensation PackageSalary Range: $90,000 - $110,000 annuallyBenefits: Competitive benefits package, 401(k), paid time off, professional development opportunities, etc.ResponsibilitiesManage a book of business consisting of 10 groups with 100-1,000 lives, totaling approximately $1.5 million in revenue.Serve as the primary client contact, ensuring exceptional service and satisfaction.Handle renewals, benefit design, and client-facing responsibilities.Coordinate and attend client meetings, including open enrollment sessions.Collaborate with the Account Executive and other team members to provide seamless support.Utilize Epic software for account management and documentation.Travel occasionally within the San Jose, San Diego, and Los Angeles areas for client and team engagements.Qualifications/Requirements Education & Licensing: Active Life and Health Insurance License required.Experience:Minimum of 5 years of experience in employee benefits account management.Strong knowledge of fully insured and self-funded plans.Experience with mid-to-large market accounts is preferred.Technical Skills: Proficiency in Epic software is required.Soft Skills:Excellent client-facing and communication skills.Team-oriented with a collaborative mindset.Adaptable and flexible in a dynamic work environment.Eagerness to learn and grow within the role.Language Skills: Spanish-speaking candidates are a plus.
