Job DetailsDescriptionSUMMARY:We’re looking for a detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to manage transportation quoting and serve as a key point of contact for customers. This role blends operational execution with customer communication, ensuring shipments are priced accurately and handled efficiently from start to finish.ResponsibilitiesPrepare accurate and timely transportation quotes (LTL, FTL as applicable)Communicate directly with customers to understand shipping needs and timelinesCoordinate shipments from pickup through delivery, ensuring on-time performanceBuild and maintain relationships with carriers, brokers, and internal teamsNegotiate rates and secure capacity with approved transportation partnersTrack shipments and proactively resolve delays, damages, or service issuesMaintain accurate records in NetSuiteProvide updates, reports, and shipment visibility to customersEnsure compliance with company policies and transportation regulationsQualifications2+ years of experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain - preferred but not requiredStrong communication and customer service skillsAbility to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environmentProficiency with TMS systems and Microsoft Office (especially Excel)Strong problem-solving and attention to detailKey CompentenciesCustomer focusOrganization and time managementNegotiation and cost optimizationAccountability and follow-throughWork EnvironmentOffice-based May require occasional extended hours to meet customer deadlinesThis position plays a critical role in delivering reliable transportation solutions while maintaining strong customer relationships.Physical RequirementsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear.Able to regularly lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.Able to sit for long periods; stand and walk frequently; and bend, stoop, and reach occasionally.
