FTE 0.6Scheduled Bi-Weekly Hours 48Work Shift Day: 8 hoursJob Description Collaborates with other members of the healthcare team to promote optimum imaging procedures. Provides imaging services as defined by Title 17 (Radiologic Health Branch) and Title 22 (Department of Health Services) for the State of California. Applying the principles in assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating and modifying patient imaging care as an active, continuous process. Prioritized work according to urgency and resources.Consistently and appropriately follows Universal PrecautionsKeeps updated on MRI developments through professional journals, on the job training and other educational opportunitiesMaintains clinical competency assuming reasonability for continuing education and on-going modalityAssists in performing first aid, CPR and AEDParticipates in peer competenciesParticipates in the training and onboarding of new team membersReports equipment issues to clinical engineering and vendor service engineerIs aware of and works within hospital and department safety guidelines, including reporting potential hazards and hazardous behaviorUses appropriate body mechanics and lifting devices as neededQualifications Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology or MRI program. Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist in Radiology, ARRT (R) or ARMRIT and upon hire or within 4 months of hire, registered in MRI, ARRT (MR)Must clear MRI safety screening to safely work in Zone IV.Preferred: Siemens equipment experienceLicense/Certification/Registration Requirements ARRT (R)(MR) or ARRT(MR) + ARMRITORARRT (MR) + 2 years inpatient experienceBasic Life Support(BLS)Certification in VenipunctureSalary Range: $72.13 - $91.57 USD HourThe Physical Requirements and Working Conditions of this job are available.
