This is a production-focused role — not an administrative one. The right candidate is a seasoned personal lines insurance professional who brings deep carrier knowledge, sharp quoting instincts, and a genuine passion for helping franchise owners write and place more business. You'll serve as a trusted daily resource for franchise agents, actively driving production results across the network through strategic guidance, carrier expertise, and hands-on execution.Uniquely positioned at the intersection of franchise production and Carrier Relations, this role bridges the gap between what agents need on the ground and the carrier strategy that powers the network. You'll own key production programs — including Quote Buddy, Concierge Quoting, and out-of-state referral workflows — while partnering closely with our Carrier Relations team to ensure agents are fully equipped to utilize appointments, navigate underwriting, and convert opportunities into bound business. If you're energized by solving complex placement challenges, coaching agents to higher performance, and making a measurable impact at scale, this is the role for you.Position Summary:Production & Placement Support franchise agents with live quoting and placement strategy across personal lines productsReview risks and recommend the best carrier and coverage approach based on appetite and market fitAssist agents with complex and hard-to-place risks, providing creative solutions to keep opportunities movingEnsure quotes are accurate, complete, and structured to maximize bind potentialHelp agents move opportunities through the pipeline from quote to close with speed and confidenceProgram Ownership Quote Buddy ProgramOwn and manage the Quote Buddy program end-to-end, serving as the primary point of contact for agents seeking quoting supportEnsure fast turnaround and high-quality quoting support on every requestDrive consistency and continuous improvement in program performanceConcierge Quoting WorkflowManage the full Concierge Quoting workflow, including intake, assignment, and follow-throughEnsure clean, complete handoffs back to agents for binding with minimal frictionOut-of-State Referral CoordinationRoute out-of-state business appropriately based on licensing and carrier accessEnsure no opportunities are lost due to access or licensing gapsTrack and improve referral conversion through consistent process managementSystems & Workflow Execution Troubleshoot and optimize quoting and workflow configurations across core platforms: Applied Epic (AMS), InsuredMine (CRM & pipeline), QuoteRush, EZLynx, and carrier portalsIdentify and resolve gaps in agent quoting setups quickly to minimize production disruptionEnsure accurate pipeline tracking and clean data flow across all systemsServe as a subject matter expert on system capabilities and quoting best practicesCarrier Support & Market Intelligence Act as a day-to-day carrier resource for agents, providing guidance on appetite, submission strategy, and escalation supportPartner with the Carrier Relations team to align on carrier appetite, growth strategy, and access issuesSurface trends from the field — including underwriting shifts, pricing changes, and patterns in declines — to inform broader carrier strategySupport carrier rollout and onboarding execution to ensure agents can effectively quote and bind with new appointmentsCarrier Meeting ParticipationAttend select carrier meetings and training sessions to stay current on market developmentsCapture key takeaways and translate them into clear, actionable guidance for franchise agentsProvide feedback from the field on quoting challenges, carrier usability, and appetite claritySupport follow-through to ensure agents adopt new information and translate it into production impactAgent Support & Enablement Provide one-on-one coaching to franchise agents on quoting strategy, carrier placement, and system usageSupport new franchise onboarding with hands-on quoting guidance to set agents up for early successReinforce best practices with existing franchises to improve bind rates and optimize carrier mixEducationRequired: High school diploma or GEDPreferred: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Risk Management, or a related fieldPreferred: Active Property & Casualty (P&C) licenseWork ExperienceRequired: 5+ years of hands-on experience in personal lines insurance within an agency or brokerage environmentPreferred: Experience supporting franchise operations or a network-based agency modelPreferred: Demonstrated proficiency with Applied Epic, InsuredMine, QuoteRush, and/or EZLynxPreferred: Experience with carrier relations, placement strategy, or production program managementKnowledge, Skills & AbilitiesStrong, hands-on experience with Applied Epic, InsuredMine, QuoteRush, and EZLynx; comfort working across multiple carrier portalsProven ability to quote and place personal lines products including homeowners, auto, and umbrellaDeep knowledge of carrier appetite, underwriting guidelines, and placement strategy across personal lines marketsAbility to manage multiple priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced, production-driven environmentStrong problem-solving skills with sharp attention to detail and a focus on executionClear and effective communicator — able to coach agents, collaborate with carrier partners, and surface field insights to leadershipSupervisory ResponsibilityThe Franchise Placement & Production Manager is responsible for directly managing and supporting the Concierge Agent. This role provides day-to-day leadership, guidance, and performance oversight for this direct report, while fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented team environment.
