This position is one of the most important in the company as shipping is the last check for quality and outstanding customer service prior to shipment. Because of BioLegend’s sustained explosive growth, expect to process thousands of orders every day with the support of an enthusiastic team with a “can do” attitude. As a tier I Shipping Representative, training standards should be implemented and adhered to.Essential FunctionsReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Reports defective materials to Department SupervisorWorking with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software to search multiple product locations within inventory.Organize and manage consumable inventoryOccasionally handling blue ice with glovesProcess a high volume of orders for both international and domestic destinationsEffectively communicate on a regular basis with customer service to ensure any last-minute requirements are met and tracking information is sentWork with a variety of postal carriers to include FEDEX, DHL, UPS and KWEEfficiently pack orders to balance both weight and volumeEdit and draft standard operating procedures (SOPs)Dangerous goods shippingAssist packaging technicians pick, and pack orders as neededMeet performance targetsSupport 5S activities throughout the warehouseReport and/or solve posting issues with NAVMinimum Qualifications – Education And ExperienceHigh School Diploma6 months of relevant work experiencePreferred Qualifications – Education And ExperienceIATA/DOT certified dangerous goods handlerRecent shipping experience with both international and domestic ordersMicrosoft Dynamics (NAV) Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systemsQualified TrainerISO 13485 experience2 years of related warehouse inventory experienceAbility to ensure quality while fulfilling a high amount of ordersExcellent communication skillsAbility to multitask in a fast-paced environmentWork Environment & Physical Demands- WarehouseWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in a warehouse environment with occasional data entry on a computer. Occasional exposure to a laboratory environment. The employee is frequently required to stand, talk and hear.The pay range for this full-time position is an hourly rate of $18.00 - $22.00 USD. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for a new hire in this position. The pay offered to the successful candidate will take into account internal equity, work location, and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. This range allows for the successful candidate to have an opportunity to progress within the position and develop at our company.
