Project Engineer
Role Description The Project Manager technical arm. Owns submittals, RFIs, drawing and document management, technical coordination, and shop drawing review. Supports the Superintendent to ensure all field documentation from Field Operations is submitted properly. Also ensures field subcontractors are submitting their required documentation. Skills & Qualifications Entry level position with undergraduate degree in construction management, engineering, or similar field of study. Strong technical aptitude, highly organized, proficient with Procore, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Suite. Decision Authority Owns the technical document workflow and can prioritize submittals, manage RFIs, coordinate with subs and vendors. Must elevate technical issues impacting cost, schedule, or design intent to the Project Manager. Key Responsibilities Own and maintain submittal log, RFI log, drawing register, and all technical tracking. Manage RFI’s, submittals, drawings, and project records. Ensure field documentation from Supers and subs is submitted and processed timely. Manage document control for project. Assist the Assistant Project Manager and Superintendents with daily project coordination. Help track material procurement, project progress and schedule updates. Visit job site regularly to observe progress and support field operations. Help coordinate deliveries. Support micro-scheduling. Participate in safety meetings. Develop problem-solving and project management skills
