Growing together.Schedule: Monday through Thursday, 7:45 AM- 5:00 PM or until last patient leaves. Friday 7:45 am to 1:00 pm or until last patient leaves. May be asked to float to other locations for coverage, as needed.Location: 4700 Forest Dr. Columbia, Ground Floor, SC 29206Primary Responsibilities:Greet and check in patientsVerifies patient demographics and insurance informationCollects outstanding balances, co-pays, deductibles, and co-insurancesChecks patients out and schedules future appointmentsPerforms general clerical dutiesMeets the communication needs of the patient/ family, practice providers, and practice staffParticipate in performance improvement activitiesGreet patients in a professional and courteous mannerDirects patients to appropriate areasCheck-in' all patients, gives patient medical forms to complete and update if neededCollecting payments, printing receipts, and posting paymentsScanning and filing patients' information if neededReconciles cash drawer daily and send deposit to Department managerRetrieve and sort mail into appropriate boxesSorts and documents any returned mailMaintains a good working relationship with practice staff membersPerforms all other duties assignedMeets dress code standards: appearance is neat and cleanCompletes annual/ monthly education requirementsReports to work on time and as scheduledCompletes work in a timely mannerAttend staff meetingsEnsures patient confidentialityComplies with all practice policies and procedures.Performs other duties as assignedWhat are the reasons to consider working for UnitedHealth Group? The hourly pay for this role will range from $16.15 to $28.80 per hour based on full-time employment.
