UI/UX Designer

Payrate: $65.00- $70.00/hr. Summary:As a Senior Product Designer on the Local Design team within Seller Experience, you’ll help evolve a critical part of how buyers and sellers connect by enabling local, in-person commerce that strengthens trust and community. Local buying and selling are a meaningful extension of the marketplace, and this team plays a key role in shaping how buyers Client nearby inventory and how sellers connect with buyers to complete transactions in person. Responsibilities:Create outstanding, user-centered designs incorporating business requirements, product findings, and customer feedbackDesign end-to-end experiences for how key information such as pricing appears across the buyer and seller experienceDevelop conceptual diagrams, wireframes, visual mockups, and prototypesCollaborate with partner teams to co-create scalable experiences that balance user needs with business objectivesUnderstand both seller and buyer experiences to create holistic end-to-end solutionsLeverage existing design system into your solutions while also being able to thoughtfully contribute new additions to itCommunicate design work and drive future direction with peers, researchers, design leaders, product partners and executives through strong verbal, written, and visual presentation skillsRegularly present to leadership and key XFN stakeholders to collect feedback and iterate to strengthen the work Requirements:8-10 years of experience in Product DesignBachelor’s degree in Interaction Design/HCI or equivalent experienceDeep understanding of the user-centered design processStrong storytelling skills to craft compelling narratives that are tailored to different audiencesExperience partnering with Content Design to effectively leverage copy to help craft a compelling experience for usersExperience in Design Research, including competitive analysis, qualitative interviews, leveraging quantitative metrics to drive decisions, and crafting insights from observationDeep understanding of working with design systems as well as experience on how to thoughtfully improve themSpecialist in prototyping and designing in Figma for multiple devices including mobile, tablet, and desktopExperience working with buyer/seller marketplacesLeadership self-starter with proactive stance toward achieving success on projectsStrong interaction design skills and visual design skills, as well as a strong grasp of English language to create and share simple user flowsStrong social skills build effective working relationships with other design teams and within other domains such as Product, Engineering, MarketingFacilitation - Plan, coordinate and lead workshops and design sprints with cross-functional partners and teams to gain alignment on new initiatives and product strategyA portfolio that showcases relevant design projects and includes your process, design explorations and final work. Preferred qualifications:Experience designing eCommerce platforms and or SAAS applications Pay Transparency: The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $65.00- $70.00/hour. Non-exempt positions are eligible for overtime at a rate of 1.5 times the base hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of 40 in a work week, or as required by state or local law. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience. Full-time employees are eligible to select from different benefits packages.
