Maintenance Tech Lead

2nd Shift Required Education and Experience:Completion of Industrial Maintenance apprenticeship program, and one to two years of related experience/training, or equivalent combination of education and experience Electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and welding knowledge Excellent communication, teamwork, leadership, organizational, time management, and decision making skillsMust be able to work in a team and independentlyMust be able to prioritize, work with limited supervision, give instruction, and be willing to be hands-on with projectsMust have a good knowledge of the English language Scissor lift, forklift, and crane licenses Knowledge of Customer Specific RequirementsKnowledge of ISO 9001/IATF 16949 Essential Functions:Operate all tools and equipment in a safe mannerEnsure production floor runs smoothly and efficiently by performing maintenance tasksAs machines break down, perform the necessary repairs and look for ways to improve processesAssists workers in diagnosing malfunctions in machinery and equipmentRecommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of productSuggests changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of shop, department, or maintenance or robot technician personnelAnalyzes and resolves work problems, or assists maintenance and robot technicians in solving work problemsInitiates or suggests plans to motivate associates to achieve work goals Assist electricians as necessary Assist preventative maintenance crew as necessary Receive work orders and complete in timely mannerPerform weld fabrication (guards, stands, tables, work benches, etc.)Train, direct, and assist all maintenance employees within area of responsibilityCommunicate with upper management and support other departments when necessaryAny other duties or responsibilities assigned by the Maintenance Manager Abide by all Company polices including, but not limited to the following: Health and Safety, Quality and Environmental Systems, Human Resources policies, and the Martinrea Employee Handbook Language Skills:Ability to read, analyse, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Mathematical Skills:Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of planes and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.Salary: $25 - $43 per hour
