Role Description This is a contract, on-site role for a Teacher at Asbury Christian Preschool and Clubhouse, located in Arnold, MD. As a Teacher, you will develop and execute lesson plans, manage classroom activities, and foster a positive learning environment for preschool-aged children. Additional responsibilities include monitoring and supporting children’s educational and emotional development, maintaining a safe and engaging space, and collaborating with families and staff to meet the needs of each child. Qualifications Experience with Lesson Planning and implementation of age-appropriate educational programsBackground in Education and Teaching, with knowledge of effective methods to engage young childrenStrong Communication skills to collaborate with families and colleagues, as well as effectively instruct childrenCompetence in Training and developing young children across cognitive, emotional, and social domainsCertification in Early Childhood Education or a related field is highly preferredAbility to create a nurturing, inclusive, and faith-based learning environmentPrevious experience in a preschool or early childhood setting is a plus
