We are looking for a dedicated and experienced CPA to join our team in Austin, helping us scale our impact while maintaining the white-glove service our clients expect.The RoleAs a Senior CPA at Stoner & Bouldin, you won't just be crunching numbers; you will be a key player in our firm's growth. You will handle complex tax planning and preparation for a high-tier client base, offering the strategic insights that have made us a trusted partner for over two decades.Key Responsibilities* Tax Strategy & Compliance: Lead the preparation and review of complex federal and state tax returns for individuals, corporations, and partnerships.* Client Advisory: Provide high-level tax planning and consulting to help clients navigate changing regulations and optimize their financial positions.* Expansion Support: Assist in the onboarding of new clients as we expand our formerly "locked" client list.* Mentorship: Provide guidance and technical review for junior staff as the firm grows.* Quality Assurance: Maintain our boutique standard of "top tier" customer service through meticulous attention to detail and proactive communication.Qualifications* Experience: 5-10 years of progressive experience in public accounting, specifically within tax services.* Credential: Active CPA license is required.* Technical Skills: Deep knowledge of current tax laws (federal and state) and proficiency in professional tax software (e.g., Lacerte).* Style: A passion for client service and the ability to thrive in a boutique, collaborative office environment.* Location: This is a 100% in-office position at our Austin, Texas office.Salary & Benefits* Compensation: $90,000 - $130,000 per year (Competitive for the Austin market, commensurate with experience).* Performance Bonuses: Opportunities for year-end bonuses based on firm growth and individual performance.* Benefits: Flexible health insurance, SIMPLE retirement matching, and generous PTO.* Culture: A stable, family-owned environment with a focus on work-life balance.Company DescriptionBoutique tax office with an emphasis on client services. xhqgsiq Company DescriptionBoutique tax office with an emphasis on client services.
