Screen Repair SpecialistAce Hardware is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Screen Repair Specialist to join our team. This position is responsible for repairing and replacing window and door screens for customers, ensuring high-quality workmanship and excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have prior experience with screen repair, basic hand tools, and the ability to work efficiently in a retail service environment.Key Responsibilities:Repair and replace window and door screens, including measuring, cutting, and installing screen material.Assess damaged screens and recommend appropriate repair solutions to customers.Operate and maintain tools and equipment used for screen repair.Assist customers with service requests, providing friendly and professional support.Maintain an organized and clean workspace in the repair area.Track repair orders and ensure timely completion of customer requests.Follow all store safety procedures and company policies.Assist with other store duties as needed.Qualifications:Previous experience repairing window or door screens preferred.Familiarity with hand tools and basic measuring techniques.Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.Ability to work independently and manage multiple repair requests.Strong customer service and communication skills.Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for extended periods.Schedule & Employment Type:Full-time positionFlexible schedule including some evenings and weekends as neededWhat We Offer:Employee discountsOpportunities for growth within Ace HardwareSupportive and team-oriented work environment
