The Quantity Surveying Lead provides reliable field-based quantity data to support subcontractor payment verification, contract administration, and project cost control. Working closely with construction teams, subcontractors, and project controls personnel, the role ensures that installed work is correctly captured and aligned with contractual scope and commercial records.This position requires presence in the construction sites; candidates are to be open to domestic relocation based on project schedules & locations. Qualified candidates anywhere in the US will be considered. Relocation assistance is available to Shreveport and/or construction sites as required.Roles And ResponsibilitiesLead site-based quantity surveying activities for assigned buildings and work packagesMeasure and verify installed quantities across civil, structural, architectural, mechanical, and electrical scopes.Coordinate with construction supervisors and subcontractors to confirm completed work quantitiesMaintain detailed quantity measurement records aligned with project work breakdown structures and contract schedules of rates.Provide verified quantity reports to Cost Control and Contract Administration teams for payment certification and financial tracking.Support evaluation of variation orders and change requests by validating associated quantitiesMonitor subcontractor progress quantities and identify discrepancies between reported and actual installed work.Mentor and coordinate quantity surveying personnel supporting the project.Qualifications And ExperienceBachelor’s degree in quantity surveying, Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent field experience.15–20 years of experience in quantity surveying or commercial management within large-scale construction projects.Strong experience verifying quantities and subcontractor progress on active construction sites.Thorough understanding of construction methods across civil, structural, architectural, mechanical, and electrical works.Proven experience supporting subcontractor payment verification and variation evaluation.Experience on large infrastructure, industrial, or data center construction projects is highly preferredExcellent communication skills both written and verbal.Professional membership such as MRICS or equivalent quantity surveying certification is preferred.Strong knowledge of measurement standards and construction contract administration is preferred.Candidates must be able to legally work and reside in the US, without sponsorship.]], >
