Finance Business / Portfolio Analyst (Business Analyst IV) Consultant – Houston, TX (Hybrid) – $55-63/hour - 3+ months w/potential to extend and/or convert to permanentLooking to make a strategic impact through financial insights and portfolio optimization? This is an opportunity to join a large, established organization in a strategic planning function, supporting high-visibility investment and capital decisions.Who you are:8+ years of experience in corporate finance, portfolio analysis, or financial planningStrong background in budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and ROI modelingAdvanced skills with Excel and financial reporting tools; experience with Power BI and portfolio management platforms (e.g., SAP, ADO)Comfortable working independently while partnering with senior stakeholdersEligible for conversion to a full-time roleWhat you’ll do:Manage financial performance across portfolios, including budgets, forecasts, and ROI analysisDevelop portfolio roadmaps, investment plans, and executive-level dashboards and reportsTrack spend versus budget, perform variance analysis, and recommend corrective actionsSupport governance, prioritization, and capital allocation decisions through data-driven insightsWhat does this position pay?Compensation is determined by several factors which may include skillset, experience level, and education.The expected range for this role is up to $55-63 per hour.
