Individuals should be able to work independently and as a team. This position is mostly customer service and summer conferencing support.QualificationsReports To Education/QualificationsA semester GPA of 2.0 or greater before and during employment, a cumulative GPA of 2.0 prior to and throughout employment, enrolled in at least 6 credit hours & not be on any NWCCD probation (financial, academic or social)Knowledge, Skills & AbilitiesKnowledge: Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, PreferredSkills: Must be organized and able to multitask; Must be willing to work in a team environment but also able to work aloneAbilities: Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing; Ability to work with others, both individually and in groupsWorking Conditions/Physical RequirementsMust be an energetic, innovative individual who is self-disciplined, detail oriented, able to work nights and weekends, able to resolve conflict in many situationsPhysical requirements: Must be able to climb stairs and assist in room preparation (lofting/unlofting beds, moving furniture, etc.), lift 25 pounds, and willingness to learn.Must live on campus and serve in the on-call duty rotation for summer conferencesAboutAbout Northern Wyoming Community College District ExperiencePrior Involvement in clubs, organizations, student employment, etc. Lived on campus for at least 1 semester prior to employment preferredSpecial Instructions to ApplicantsJob DutiesThese are the job duties for required of the position.Percentage of time 40% Responsibility/DutyCampus Life and Housing Daily Operations: Work with the Campus Life and Housing team to coordinate/assign/manage projects both long and short term; assist with answering phone calls, emails, and other customer service functions; Assist in staffing the Thorne-Rider Campus Center as needed.
