Production Manager Job Title: Production Manager Location: JM Hutton & Company, Richmond, IN 47374 Job Type: Full Time- M-F  Job Summary We are seeking a driven, results-oriented Production Manager to oversee our daily manufacturing operations. You will lead production teams, streamline workflows, maintain budgets, and uphold quality standards to meet customer demands. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver focused on continuous improvement and safety compliance.  Key ResponsibilitiesProficient: with Laser, Press Brake, Weld operations and Production AssemblyProduction Planning: Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer requirements and minimize costs. Coordinate with procurement and logistics to ensure timely availability of materials.Resource Management: Coordinate with other departments to allocate resources effectively, manage inventory levels, conduct worker meetings, and determine inventory size to avoid understocking or overstocking.Quality Control: Maintain quality standards to ensure products meet specifications and conduct regular inspections to identify and rectify defects.Method Analysis: Determine the method of production to be used, identify inefficient methods, and develop strategies to overcome such problems.Team Management: Lead teams, manage resources, and develop strategies to produce high-quality products.  Required Skills & QualificationsExperience: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or Engineering preferred, plus 3-6+ years of experience in a production management role.Technical Skills: Proficiency with ERP software and MS Office.Leadership: Strong communication, organizational, and conflict-resolution skills.Analytical Ability: Strong decision-making skills with a focus on, and a results-driven approach.
