Sr. Devops Engineer - AWS - Onsite

*Job Title:* Senior DevOps / DevSecOps Engineer *Location:* Onsite *Experience Level:* Senior (5+ years) *Job Type:* Full-Time / Contract *Role Overview* We are seeking a *Senior DevOps / DevSecOps Engineer* to design, automate, and secure our hybrid cloud and on-premises infrastructure. In this role, you will lead the architecture of CI/CD pipelines, containerized microservices, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and automated security controls. You will be instrumental in driving high system availability (99.9%+), scaling deployment frequency, and reducing overall operational friction. *Key Responsibilities* * *CI/CD & Automation:* Architect and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines using *Jenkins* and *GitLab CI/CD* to streamline build, test, and zero-downtime deployment workflows (blue-green, canary). * *Cloud & Container Infrastructure:* Design and manage hybrid cloud environments across *AWS, Azure, and on-premises*, deploying containerized microservices via *Docker*, *Kubernetes (EKS)*, and *OpenShift*. * *Infrastructure as Code (IaC):* Develop and enforce enterprise IaC standards using *Terraform, Ansible, and ARM templates* for rapid, repeatable infrastructure provisioning. * *DevSecOps & Identity Management:* Integrate automated security scanning tools (*SonarQube, Checkmarx, Orca*) into delivery pipelines; manage enterprise secrets via *Vault/CyberArk* and integrate AWS IAM with Active Directory. * *Observability & SRE:* Build end-to-end monitoring and logging solutions using *Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, and New Relic*; establish SLIs/SLOs, lead RCA, and automate incident response to reduce MTTR. * *Cost & Performance Optimization:* Direct hybrid connectivity (Direct Connect, VPN, ExpressRoute) and execute ongoing infrastructure cost-optimization strategies. *Qualifications & Core Requirements* * *Experience:* 5+ years in DevOps, Site Reliability, or Systems Engineering with a strong focus on security integration. * *CI/CD & Code:* Expertise with Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Git, and scripting (Python, Bash, or Go). * *Cloud & Containers:* Deep proficiency with AWS/Azure, Docker, and Kubernetes (EKS or on-prem cluster management). * *IaC & Security:* Advanced skills in Terraform/Ansible and familiarity with DevSecOps tools (SonarQube, Vault, Checkmarx). * *Networking & OS:* Strong background in Linux administration, hybrid networking, and secure secrets management. *Interview Process* * *Round 1 (In-Person):* Deep-dive technical evaluation with our Lead Architects. * *Round 2 (In-Person):* Leadership, vision, and team-alignment discussion with Karthik Turaga.
