The shift for this role is Monday thru Friday 6AM - 2:30PMGrowing medical and recreational cannabis manufacturers on the East Coast. Our mission is simple: grow the highest-quality weed at prices everyone can afford.We're looking for passionate people to join us in our mission to democratize cannabis-or as we like to say, to "Weed the People."With a dialed-in grow operation and a bold new brand refresh, we're ready to dominate the MD/DC market-and have a little fun while we're at it.Kitchen AssociateOur Kitchen Associate is primarily responsible for assisting with all steps of the infused product production process including, dosing, dispensing, packaging and quality control. Your role in caring for our products:The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:Operating machinery including candy packaging, candy depositor, and capsule bottler machine Prepping ingredients required for topical and edible products Maintaining a clean and organized work environmentCleaning, organizing, Quality ControlDispensing topicals into appropriate containersDispensing product into capsules using pipette Hand packaging and sealing of infused productsMaintaining food safety standardsOther duties as assignedQualifications we ask you to have:For legal reasons, all employees need to be at least 21 years of age.You will be asked to pass a Federal and State criminal history background check.High School degree/GED preferred.Addition skills which will help you excel in your role:Strong attention to detail – our patients are relying on our accuracy!Desire and ability to work as a member of a team.Maintain open communication with the management team and other co-workers.Ability to work at a fast pace in a high production environment.Comply with open all HR policies including confidentiality and non-disclosure.Maintain communication with the management team and other co-workers.Strong work ethics – be accountable and proactive.Please make sure you are willing and able to perform the following:Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the functions. This role will ask that you sit, walk, bend, and reach throughout your entire shift. There may be days where you stand the entire day, sit the entire day, etc. Please be flexible as needs will change.This role is similar to an assembly line in that it will be completing repetitive tasks throughout the day. You will be asked to carry loads of up to 50lbs repeatedly throughout the day. This position requires arm extending, and repetitive use of arms, hands, and fingers to cut and manipulate small objects such as leaves.As this is a cannabis growing facility, there will be strong odors, bright lights, and various noises throughout the workday. Employees are asked to wear scrubs, masks, gloves, and hairnets while working with the plants.
