Opportunity:Propel Schools is seeking a Assistant Girls' Varsity Volleyball Coach for the 26-27 season starting this Fall:Propel Andrew Street High School/Propel Braddock Hills High SchoolPropel Montour High SchoolSuccessful candidates will have:Prior Varsity or Junior Varsity coaching experiencePreferred candidates will have experience as a head coach or assistant coach, playing experience, as well as the demonstrated ability to support building a successful program starting at the varsity levelResponsibility for supporting the head coach and the development of the programExperience supporting the Varsity program with the head coach and athletic directorExperience supporting the implementation of off-season programs in accordance with WPIAL/PIAA regulations.Willingness and ability to attend all required PIAA preseason coaching meetings and mandatory coaching certification/trainings in compliance with PIAA regulations.High level of personal organization and planningStrong communication and relationship building skillsWillingness to participate in ongoing professional developmentA commitment to the Promising Principles of PropelSeason Information:The 2026-2027 volleyball season is scheduled to begin on August 17th, 2026 and is anticipated to conclude in November, although the season may end earlier depending on if the team participates in postseason.This position includes a seasonal stipend of $2,000.
