IMCS is Hiring: Construction CoordinatorJob Title: Construction CoordinatorLocation: Jackson, TN 38301Duration: 12 monthsTravel: 5%- DomesticOvertime: 25%Pay Range: $54 - $58/hr on W2About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Construction Coordinator to support large-scale industrial building construction projects within a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for coordinating contractors, managing schedules, budgets, RFIs, and supporting successful building project execution from construction through completion.The ideal candidate has strong experience in industrial or automotive construction projects, building systems, contractor management, and field execution.Key ResponsibilitiesManage general contractors, subcontractors, testing agencies, budgets, and project schedulesAdminister construction contracts and monitor plan/specification complianceConduct on-site inspections and supervise field construction activitiesSupport building construction projects across plant operationsCoordinate construction scheduling and project communicationManage daily RFIs and contract change requests (CCR)Act as liaison between field construction teams and project managementCoordinate vendor activities, equipment delivery, installation, and schedulingSupport weekend/shutdown construction activitiesReview drawings and verify installation compliance with project specificationsPresent project status updates and progress reportsRequired Qualifications10+ years of experience in industrial construction projectsExperience with building construction (greenfield or brownfield)Strong knowledge of construction methods and meansOSHA 30 Certification requiredStrong experience managing construction schedules (daily/weekly/monthly)Proficient in drawing review and field applicationStrong Microsoft Office skills:WordExcelPowerPointOutlookExcellent communication and organizational skillsAbility to work onsite in a large industrial/manufacturing environmentPreferred QualificationsAssociate’s degree in construction management or related field.Experience with:AutoCADBluebeamMicrosoft ProjectAutomotive construction experience preferredExperience with:Underground utilitiesEarthworkCivil constructionStructural steelBuilding envelopeMechanical/Electrical systemsBuilding handover/completionPreferred Industry BackgroundCandidates with experience in:Automotive manufacturing plantsIndustrial constructionFactory expansionsPlant/facility construction projectsSkillsConstruction Management | Industrial Construction | Contractor Management | OSHA 30 | AutoCAD | Bluebeam | Microsoft Project | RFI Management | Building Construction | SchedulingApply NowInterested candidates can apply directly through LinkedIn or submit an updated resume for consideration.
