Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and attentive Server to join our vibrant food service team. Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements to ensure a smooth flow of service Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring all special requests are noted and fulfilled Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties, while maintaining accountability for all payments Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations by bussing tables and ensuring sanitation standards are met Provide knowledgeable recommendations about menu items, including wine pairings or specialty dishes, especially in fine dining or upscale settings Ensure food safety and sanitation protocols are followed at all times during food handling, preparation, serving, and cleanup processes Assist with guest relations by addressing questions or concerns promptly to ensure a positive dining experience Support team members in various restaurant operations such as opening/closing duties or assisting in the kitchen when necessary Skills Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, with a strong understanding of customer service principles Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable for efficient order processing Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours Ability to upsell menu items confidently to maximize sales opportunities Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Experience in fine dining environments or nightclubs is a plus for delivering high-end guest experiences Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and billing procedures Previous host/host or bussing experience is advantageous for supporting overall restaurant operations Hospitality mindset with a focus on guest relations and creating welcoming atmospheres Join us in delivering outstanding service that keeps guests coming back!
