YOU are the middle man (or woman), and the information that you provide share along the way to keep both sides "in the loop" is exactly what we need to keep the "wheels in motion."The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, some post-secondary automotive training or experience, at least one year of dealer-level or large facility experience, an unrestricted driver's license and a clean driving record, and a strong technical and customer service performance record. ASE certification is a plus! Candidates must be able to work productively in a fast-paced team environment and must have a positive attitude, professional appearance, great communication skills, and the ability to deliver world-class customer service.RESPONSIBILITIESSchedules service for customers either in person or on the phone to ensure prompt and accurate diagnosis of any problemsMakes repair recommendations and manages the delivery of repairs by setting and managing customer expectationsEnsures that required documentation is complete and is in compliance with regulations and standardsComplies with and enforces all safety policies and proceduresAttends all staff meetings, training, and educational classes as required to educate/train new staff membersPerforms other duties as assignedQUALIFICATIONSHigh school diploma or GED requiredPost-secondary automotive training or equivalent work experienceOne year of dealer-level or large facility experience preferredASE certification (or is willing to obtain certification)Broad scope of automotive mechanical/electrical knowledgeNeat, clean, and professional appearancePleasant/friendly demeanor and an outgoing personalityHighly professional and dependableExcellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills, including the ability to maintain composure under stressExcellent interpersonal skills to interact professionally with customers, vendors, and staffUnrestricted driver's license and clean driving recordAbility to drive both automatic and standard-transmission vehicles is a Plus!Basic computer and internet skillsPHYSICAL DEMANDSThis is an in-person position and attendance is required to maintain employment.
