Location: Aurora, CO 80011Employment Type: Part-TimePay Rate: $21.00 per hourSchedule: Saturday - Sunday | 10:00 PM - 6:00 AMPosition OverviewCitadel Security USA is hiring a Part-Time Unarmed Security Officer for overnight coverage at school property in Aurora. The site tends to be quiet during these hours, but the expectation is to stay alert and keep an eye on the property throughout the shift.This role is mostly independent. You will be walking around the campus, checking that everything is secure, and stepping in if something does not look right.Key ResponsibilitiesWalk the campus and surrounding areas at regular intervalsCheck doors, gates, and exterior areas to make sure they’re secureWatch for trespassing, vandalism, or anything out of placeMaintain a visible presence while on patrolRespond to any issues that come up during the shiftWrite clear notes about daily activity and any incidentsFollow post orders and site guidelinesMinimum QualificationsMust be at least 18 years oldAble to consistently work overnight weekend shiftsPays attention to surroundings and small detailsCan communicate clearly, both written and verbalReliable with attendance and overall conductPreferred ExperienceAround 1 year of security or related experienceFamiliar with patrol routines and basic report writingWork EnvironmentSchool campus setting with both indoor and outdoor patrolsRegular walking and standing required throughout the shiftOvernight hours where things may be quiet, but awareness is still importantEqual Opportunity EmployerCitadel Security USA is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
