As integral partners on multi-functional teams, Planners collaborate with creative and engagement strategy partners to shape the brand vision and experience. Account Planning is a proud part of the DH Creative organization.The ideal VP, Director candidate has at least 8 years' experience as a brand planner or strategist in a creative agency or marketing consultancy, an ability to do exceptional thinking in brand strategy (e.g., positioning, analysis, insights) and the briefing skills to effectively write and manage the briefing to clients and creative teams alike.We seek planners who are curious, collaborative and tenacious in their pursuit of insight.ResponsibilitiesThe VP, Director, Account Planning has four primary responsibilities:Developing insights to unlock brand opportunities through research, analysis and strategic thinkingCreating briefs and delivering briefings that inform and inspire creativityCollaborating with clients and partners to identify brand growth opportunities and solve consumer/customer challengesAssessing brand and creative performance through primary and secondary research along with data analytics Additional responsibilities for this position include:Develop and lead creative and strategic workshops and brainstorming sessionsDesign and execution of qualitative and quantitative market researchRelevant trend tracking and creation of agency point-of-viewSupport business development/account growth strategiesManage direct report and support cross-strategy partnersApply and optimize agency strategy tools and frameworksBuild productive collaboration that enables successful teamworkQualificationsAt least 8 years' experience working in marketing and/or strategic services organizations – e.g., general advertising agency account planning group; marketing consultancy, management consulting firm; brand strategy firmAt least 5 years' experience supporting a pharma brandBrand strategy experience on large, complex franchise brands or brand portfoliosQualitative and quantitative research experience and expertiseProven skills in uncovering and implementing consumer/customer insightsExceptional writing, communication and influence skillsAbility to work independently and collaboratively across large, multi-functional teamsAdditional informationPublicis Health is the premier global health and wellness communications network. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
