Production Associate II (Extrusion) Second Shift

We are committed to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace, and we are looking for candidates who share that same commitment.Summary Of The RoleAs a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment, where your ideas and contributions will be valued and respected.Job SummaryThe Production Associate II (Extrusion) is responsible for operating and maintaining machines that extrude thermoplastic materials into tubes.Essential Job Duties And Responsibilities Run Extrusion machines to established specifications Prepares raw materials for daily production runs Measure and interpret tubing dimensions in relation to specification Maintains a clean and organized work environment Operate as a team player to assist in meeting department goals Breakdown and clean all extrusion equipment as needed Set-up extrusion equipment according to specification Able to identify visual defects in extruded tubing Able to identify and correct dimensional non-conformances Clean and polish all tooling and critical components Measures and cuts tubing Selects and installs specified tooling for the job Other duties as assignedEducation And Experience Requirements High School Diploma, GED or equivalent preferred 1+ years’ experience in manufacturing environment preferredSkills And Abilities Ability to follow processes/procedures Moves equipment weighing up to 25 pounds Must be able to remain in a stationary position during shift Effective communication, include speaking, writing, active listening and taking instruction Mechanical skills, including comfort with using tools to make simple adjustments Adherence to health and safety regulations (e.g. constant use of PPE) Attention to detail Basic computer skillsWorking Conditions and Physical DemandsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
