Studio Art Teacher (Part-time)

We're Hiring: Studio Art Teacher Start Date: Training begins ASAP Location: CreArt Studioz – Bothell, WA Do you love working with kids and believe in the power of creativity? Join the CreArt Studioz team and help bring art to life in a warm, joyful, and inspiring environment! Schedule & Commitment Training begins as soon as possible Official start: Week of Feb 9th Shifts: Saturday or Sunday mornings (2-hour shifts) Monday–Thursday afternoons (3–4 hour shifts) You’ll be expected to choose 3 days per week with one weekend day from the above options Role & Responsibilities Lead and assist creative, child-led art classes for kids ages 2–12 Foster a fun, welcoming, and safe classroom environment Prepare and clean up class materials Encourage exploration through process-based, experience-driven art Communicate warmly with parents and studio team members Help document student work and special moments via photos Occasionally support camps, events, and birthday parties Qualifications Experience working with children (ages 2–12) in classroom, camp, or program settings Proficient in teaching visual art (drawing, painting, sculpture, mixed media, etc.) Passion for creative, child-centered teaching Reliable, organized, and energetic Must be comfortable with some physical activity (setting up art spaces, lifting supplies, etc.) Bonus Points For: Early childhood education background Familiarity with Reggio-inspired or Montessori-style teaching Photography or documentation experience Flexible availability for subbing or special events Perks & Benefits 401(k) with employer contribution — Invest in your future while doing what you love!
