The laboratory team offers a stable, collaborative environment with strong tenure.This position is open due to the retirement of a long-tenured Cytotechnologist and provides the opportunity to join an experienced Cytology team.Position SummaryThe Cytotechnologist evaluates cytologic specimens to detect cellular abnormalities, including malignancies and other disease processes. This role works closely with Pathologists to support accurate diagnosis and quality patient care.QualificationsBachelor of Science degree required.CT(ASCP) certification required.Minimum of 2 years of Cytotechnologist experience.ThinPrep experience preferred.Skills & AttributesStrong attention to detail and visual discrimination skills.Ability to work independently and manage workflow effectively.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.High level of accuracy, consistency, and accountability.Additional InformationNo weekends or holidays.Consistent weekday schedule with flexible start times.Stable, long-tenured laboratory team.
