Quality Line TechnicianWe are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Line Technician to join a Hendersonville beverage production team. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in analytical testing and quality assurance, ensuring all products meet food safety standards and customer expectations throughout the manufacturing process.Location: Hendersonville, NCShift: Night Shift 6pm to 6amWork Hours: 12-hour shift, 2-2-3 rotating schedulePay Rate: $27.00/hr; increases to $28.00/hr upon permanent hireCore ResponsibilitiesQuality Testing: Perform standardized analytical and sensory tests (pH, Brix, TA, Vitamin C, color, clarity, flavor, odor) on beverages and concentrates to ensure products meet specifications.Line Checks & Documentation: Conduct hourly quality checks, pre-operational verifications, and line clearances; accurately record all test data and results in real time.Lab & Microbial Testing: Execute routine lab work and microbial testing of finished goods, bulk, and raw materials in compliance with FDA, SQF, and other regulatory standards.Food Safety & Compliance: Monitor Critical Control Points, support the environmental monitoring program, and make corrections related to GMP, sanitation, and safety.Investigations & Holds: Assist with quality investigations (OOS, NCR, Deviations) and manage QA holds through proper sampling, documentation, and disposition.General QA Support: Assist with calibration, raw material testing, rework activities, and employee training as needed.Required Skills and QualificationsExperience: 1 3 years of relevant experience; minimum 3 months in a manufacturing environment.Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent.Skills: Computer literate, strong attention to detail, excellent communication, and ability to work independently.Additional Qualifications & CompetenciesAnalytical mindset with strong recordkeeping habits; proactive approach to food safety and quality standards.Comfortable in a fast-paced, regulated manufacturing environment.Experience in food/beverage or GMP environment; background in microbiology lab techniques preferred.Associate' s degree or higher in Science, Food Science, or related field preferred.
