Assistant ManagerFull Time Assistant Manager at Riko's Pizza, 886 Hope St., Stamford, CT, USSalary Range: $17.00 to $19.00 HourlyAbout the RoleWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Manager to join our team. The Restaurant Assistant Manager is a front line staff member who leads a small team while performing many of the same tasks as colleagues, providing leadership by example. They must be willing to motivate, coach and develop that team to create future leaders. Day-to-day tasks include organizing shifts, handling cash, managing inventory, overseeing customer service and satisfaction, working the POS system, preparing orders, maintaining sanitation, and more.They will work directly alongside coworkers to accomplish tasks, and together with the General Manager will be responsible for the daily operations of the restaurant.Minimum QualificationsBachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field2+ years of experience as an assistant manager or other leadership position within the restaurant, retail, and/or hospitality industryApplicants must possess a National Registry of Food Safety Professionals Food Safety Manager Certificate, or be willing to acquire a certificate within the first 90 days of employmentExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong leadership and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneouslyAvailability to work within opening hours (e.g. evenings, holidays, weekends)Preferred QualificationsExperience in the retail or hospitality industryKnowledge of inventory management and controlExperience with scheduling and staffingResponsibilitiesAssist the Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the organizationEnsure that all team members are providing exceptional service to customersDevelop and implement strategies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of operationsManage and motivate team members to achieve their goals and objectivesMaintain accurate records and reports to track the progress of the businessSkillsAs an Assistant Manager, you will use your strong leadership and communication skills to motivate and manage a team of employees.
