We pride ourselves on creating environments that support learning and growth, all while maintaining the highest standards of design and construction integrity.Position Overview:We are looking for an experienced M&O Program Manager to oversee all phases of construction projects, from pre-construction through close-out. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing complex projects, coordinating with multiple stakeholders, and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.Key Responsibilities:Project Management: Oversee and coordinate all facets of the pre-construction, bid and award, construction, and close-out phases of assigned projects.Documentation Review: Analyze pre-construction documents and provide necessary feedback to designers.Reporting: Prepare and present reports to upper management regarding project status and progress.Coordination: Collaborate with public agencies and project staff to ensure compliance with all regulations and requirements.Budget Management: Monitor project budgets and schedules to align with the District’s standards; ensure monthly budget reflections match project status.Contractor Management: Supervise daily contractor activities, review construction schedules and submissions, and respond to contractor inquiries.Submittal Review: Evaluate contractor substitution submittals for compliance with specifications and requirements.Change Orders: Review and negotiate contractor change order proposals, ensuring fair pricing and adherence to project specifications.Payment Processing: Oversee payment processes for contractors, architects, and engineers.Professional Service Agreements: Administer agreements between architects and the District.Project Close-Out: Manage project close-out processes, ensuring certification and financial closure with relevant authorities.Additional Duties: Perform other assigned duties as required.Minimum Requirements:Experience: Minimum of eight (8) years of full-time professional experience in project/construction management for commercial and/or public/educational facilities, with responsibility for projects valued at $2M or more.Education: Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management from a recognized institution.Skills: Proficient in project management software and techniques.
