Job Title:Program Office AssociatePay Details:The starting hourly rate for this position is $21.00 per hour.This person is responsible for performing the daily activities required to maintain programs and documents supportive of facility. Associates are responsible for all guest related information pertaining to programs.ResponsibilitiesDaily RequirementsAnswer telephone in a cheerful, courteous and timely manner, and routing calls to appropriate Associates while adhering to phone etiquette policyFile documents accordingly to meet optimum guest service and efficiency standardsAdhere and comply with Program Office communication procedures and follow through with daily requirements, including but not limited to statistical game sheets or scoresheets, locker room schedules, data entry, updating and printing rosters and maintaining office supply inventory at appropriate levelsBrochures, flyers and all program signage/documents are to be in good condition and fully stocked in all areas of the facility at all timesMaintain physical and computerized files efficientlyProperly enroll all guest-related transactions in POS systems, Pointstreak, and file any other necessary documents accordingly including USA Hockey membershipsAssists in all Hockey, Skating and Management requests and projects as required by department managementOther duties as assignedGuest ServiceDemonstrate a high degree of knowledge and skill in communicating rink program information to guestsOperate ticketing, reservations & enrollment programs and systems with proficiencyEfficiently and accurately, perform daily cash handling activitiesBe thorough, accurate and prompt when responding to Guest inquires and direct the individual to the appropriate Associate when necessaryEnthusiastically service Guests while performing a multitude of diverse tasksDemonstrate the initiative and commitment to communication and teamwork to assure optimal guest serviceMaintain a professional and organized demeanor when working with Guests and teammatesSafety / SecurityAdhere to first aid and emergency guidelines and proceduresUphold safety and security protocols as requiredBe alert and communicate safety / security problems to the Supervisor or Lead in a timely mannerAdhere to manufacturer specifications when using equipment or materials in order to assure no risk to self, fellow Associates or GuestsFacility Maintenance Maintain Rinks housekeeping standards for all areas of the facility including; lobby, bleachers, restrooms, meeting spaces, locker rooms, and officesAssist in maintenance projects including periodic maintenance of facility equipmentSet up and maintain facility signage and displays where applicableProvide services as required for special events, tournaments and competitionsPerform various tasks as necessitated by Guest Service or facility requirementsAdhere to all Rinks policies and proceduresOther duties as assignedSkillsMust be 18 years of age or olderHigh School diploma or equivalent preferredFlexible schedule with the ability to work nights, weekends and some holidays as requiredMeet minimum mathematical, reading and writing requirements where necessaryProficient in Word, Excel and basic computer applicationsAble to operate and maintain printers, copiers, and facsimile equipmentKnowledge of Max Galaxy and Pointstreak systems preferredPrior reception or secretarial experience preferredService minded, enthusiastic, energetic, highly motivated self-starter with a professional and approachable styleDemonstrates an understanding of The Rinks commitment to quality service, products, and entertainmentPossess strong interpersonal and communication skillsThrives in a fast paced, dynamic environment and able to deal with a variety of individuals and personalitiesKnowledge, Skills and ExperienceEducation - High School Diploma or EquivalentExperience Required - 0-1 YearThis position is on-site.
