Quality Engineer
Overview
In this role you will own quality for end-to-end Direct Revenue experiences across multiple teams, prioritizing high-risk user journeys. You will shape the test strategy for new, premium features and build automation for critical end-to-end flows, including device compatibility, accessibility, privacy, and compliance. You’ll diagnose defects, apply AI to accelerate testing while maintaining sound judgment, and ensure release readiness with cross-team collaboration. ResponsibilitiesOwn quality for end-to-end Direct Revenue experiences spanning multiple teamsDefine and drive test strategy for new/unreleased features and premium experiencesBuild and maintain high-signal automation for critical paths and end-to-end flowsDiagnose, debug, and perform root-cause analysis; triage and champion bug resolutionLeverage AI to accelerate development while ensuring appropriate human validationOwn release readiness and quality sign-off for feature domains; participate in on-call rotationsReview code and test pull requests across platforms to raise qualityMap cross-team dependencies and surface quality risk at seams of feature integration
Key requirementsProficiency with object-oriented programming in Java, Kotlin, Swift, Objective-C, or similarExperience with client/mobile test automation frameworks (e.g., XCTest/XCUITest, Selenium WebDriver, Appium, Espresso)Extensive experience defining/building test coverage for client/mobile apps across devicesStrong understanding of quality-focused Agile methodologies across the SDLCHands-on experience using AI in an engineering workflow with appropriate judgmentFamiliar with QE/engineering tooling: TestRail, GitHub, Jira; debugging tools like Chrome DevTools, Charles Proxy, PostmanExcellent verbal and written communication; ability to document and diagram system behaviorProven analytical thinking, leadership, customer focus and collaborationMinimum: Bachelor's in a technical field and 3+ years in software testing and/or development; or Master's + 2+ years; or PhDstrong communicationcollaborationanalytical thinkingJavaKotlinSwift
